Prince Michael Jackson To Make His iHeartRadio MMVAs Debut As A Presenter

Get ready for 21-year-old Prince Michael Jackson to make his debut as a presenter at the iHeartRadio MMVA on Sunday, August 26.

Though he is Michael Jackson’s eldest son, Prince admittedly can’t sing or dance. However, that doesn’t alter that fact that Prince takes after his father’s love of music.

“Music is a big part of my life,” Jackson said to the Los Angeles Times in 2016. “It shaped who I am because of my family, but I’ve always wanted to go into production. My dad would ask me what I wanted to do and my answer was always producing and directing.”

Flash forward to 2018 and Prince Jackson has been working on doing just that and more.

In addition to his brief stint as a guest television host on Entertainment Tonight in 2013, Jackson also made his producing debut in 2016, with the release of Norwegian rapper Omer Bhatti’s “Automatic.”

The music video was the first reported project released under Jackson’s start-up production company, King’s Son Productions. In the same year, Jackson went on to produce Sco’s “Rhythm Of The World,” and then Nano’s “Hold On” in 2017.

Though his interests in the entertainment world are still present (as displayed by his active YouTube channel, Life on 2), Prince Jackson has also taken on the role of philanthropist.

Heal Los Angeles, is a charity organization founded by Jackson with the aim of rectifying social problems such as homelessness, hunger, and child abuse while also furthering the cause of Michael Jackson’s “Heal the World” organization.

Prince Michael Jackson joins Derek Hough, Jenni “JWOWW” Farley, Sonequa Martin-Green, and Tyra Banks in today’s presenter’s announcement. Also announced today are performers Meghan Trainor, Kris Wu, and 5 Seconds of Summer, who join previously announced performers Marshmello featuring Anna-Marie, Halsey, and Alessia Cara.
