Marshmello And Anne-Marie To Perform At The iHeartRadio MMVAS

The iHeartRadio MMVAs are just two months away, and the lineup of star-studded performers is already looking like it will be the hottest one yet. Just announced today, Marshmello and Anne-Marie are set to hit the stage during this year’s party.

We were first introduced to Anne-Marie in 2016 in her “Rockabye” feature with Clean Bandit and Sean Paul, and we fell for her even more this year when she released “FRIENDS” with Marshmello, which turned into an instant smash hit, and the official friendzone anthem.

Marshmello is the electronic dance music producer that we also know and love for his pop and hip-hop collaborations with powerhouses such as Selena Gomez, Khalid, Noah Cyrus, Logic, and Migos.

Inspired by other masked DJs such as Daft Punk and deadmau5, you’ll never catch him wearing anything other than his signature helmet that hides his entire head (which resembles a marshmallow, of course). Although his appearance remains a secret, we have been able to gather a few clues about who the mystery man really is. The DJ’s real name is Christopher Comstock, and he was born in Pennsylvania, where he posted his first original song called “WaVeZ” on his SoundCloud page in 2015. After receiving recognition from well-known DJs such as Skrillex, he began performing at events and festivals across America, and the rest is history.

In addition to Marshmello and Anne-Marie, today’s performer announcement also includes Alessia Cara and Halsey. The 2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs go down Sunday, August 26 at 9ET/7MT.
