Country Singer Brett Kissel To Make His iHeartRadio MMVAs Debut

The iHeartRadio MMVAs are going a little bit country, a little bit rock and roll. Just announced, singer Brett Kissel will be making his debut performance at the 2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs on Sunday, August 26.

Canadian singer Brett Kissel is one of the fastest rising stars in country music, winning the JUNO Award for Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2014, an award that was also won by fellow iHeartRadio MMVAs performer Alessia Cara. With career highlights that include touring with Brad Paisley and nine Canadian Country Music Awards, Kissel is set to take the country world by storm and gain a legion of new fans with his upcoming debut performance at the iHeartRadio MMVAs.

In addition to today’s news that Brett Kissel will be performing at the iHeartRadio MMVAs, Bebe Rexha, 98 Degrees, bülow, and The Beaches have also been announced as performers, joining previously announced performers Shawn Mendes, Halsey, Alessia Cara, Marshmello featuring Anne-Marie, 5 Seconds of Summer, Kris Wu, and Meghan Trainor.

Also announced today, eTalk host and former Much VJ Tyrone Edwards will be hosting the iHeartRadio MMVAs, with Chloe Wilde and Patrick Langlois returning to host the red carpet show. Watch Awkwafina host the 2018 iHeartRadio MMVAs on Sunday, August 26 at 9/7MT on CTV and Much.
