International superstar Avril Lavigne is coming home for the 2013 MMVAs! Avril’s upcoming performance at the 2013 MMVAs is history in the making, pushing the pop rock singer’s number of times hitting the stage at the MMVAs up to five, the most of any performer in the history of the awards show!

The seven-time MMVA winner is getting set to release her fifth studio album, collaborating on the disc with goth rocker Marilyn Manson and Lavigne’s fiancé and MMVA veteran performer, Chad Kroeger from Nickleback. Lavgine’s first single from the yet to be titled album, Here’s To Never Growing Up, has been on repeat on MUCH and radio stations worldwide and has propelled Avril to the top of the charts, a position she’s been in since releasing her debut album in 2002 at the age of 17.

In My Happy Ending, a more mature Avril debuted a new type of love song that turned from puppy love to real-life heartbreak.

4. Girlfriend

Avril showed that she can succeed in punk, rock and pop with her bubblegum anthem Girlfriend, even enlisting the help of rapper Lil Mama for the remix.

5. Here’s The Never Growing Up

Showing that she’s the same girl who rode into the music scene on her skateboard with an attitude all her own, Lavigne’s latest video is fun, rebellious and exciting – all things Avril.
