These stars will be here for the MMVAs, but we know they also love their dads!
This Sunday not only marks the annual MMVAs, but it’s also Father’s Day! Many of our evening’s guests have graciously chosen to come party it up in Toronto, but that doesn’t mean that they don’t love their dads! In fact, we have solid evidence that the following stars shown below have amazing dads and, who knows, maybe they’ll even give them a shout out when they’re onstage!
Tune in to the MMVAs this Sunday at 9E/6P on Much, CTV and CTV GO.
Our evening’s co-hosts Kendall and Kylie Jenner have a pretty famous dad, Bruce Jenner. Together, the three have been living their lives out in front of the cameras for years on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, and on many occasions, we’ve seen Bruce’s unconditional love for his two stunning daughters.
New Zealand singer Lorde’s dad phoned in to a local radio station last year when his daughter’s album Pure Heroine hit number one in the US. And just like any proud father, he gushed about her and her incredible talents.
Ariana Grande’s dad Edward Butera doesn’t shy away from posting things about his pop star daughter on Twitter. Just take a look at this heartwarming screen grab of their conversation!
When Much went behind the scenes on Serena Ryder’s recent music video for Heavy Love, Ryder introduced us to her amazing parents. Apparently it was her mom’s birthday and her dad helped set up a surprise visit. Awww!

When Back to Black went double platinum nearly a year after its release, this tiny kid from the U.K. had the world wondering, “What is this girl about?” My story with Winehouse started before she became a household name. As July 23 marks five years since […]
With The Hills: That Was Then, This Is Now just a few weeks away, we can’t help but listen to the iconic theme song on repeat. Natasha Bedingfield’s “Unwritten” has become a nostalgic song for the 20-somethings of this generation. It makes us think of a time when Sidekick phones were all the rage, Paris […]
Céline Dion hasn’t spent a lifetime performing to sold out crowds just to sit on a couch and do a few halfhearted impressions. The woman’s an *entertainer*. That’s why when Tonight Show host Jimmy Fallon invited the Grammy winner to play Wheel of Musical Impressions, Dion agreed. And then she slayed. Dion did the usual […]
Canadian trailblazers A Tribe Called Red are continuing to forge their own path in music. The electronic band, comprised of DJ’s Bear Witness, DJ NDN and 2oolman, have combined dance music and elements of First Nation music to win critical acclaim and legions of fans since dropping their debut self-album in 2012. The JUNO Award […]
