Steal The Look: Post Malone’s Killer Braids

iHeartRadio MMVA performer Post Malone is always saucin’ with the freshest braids. Instead of counting bands, you’ll be using them to recreate his iconic hairstyles below.

Lil’ Braids

Get Post’s Stoney album cover look with a lot of small braids. First, detangle your hair so it’s free of knots by spritzing this Lush detangler, and then comb it through. Make these baby braids cute and tiny, so braid smaller strands of hair.

Fishtail Braid

We’re HOOKED on these fishtail braids on Posty. Catch this look for yourself by parting your hair in the centre and grabbing smaller sections of hair to fishtail braid from the top of your head. For a long lasting hold,  use a light dab of Kiehl’s Creative Cream Wax.

French Braided Pigtails

Posty knows that perfect is overrated (case in point- these messy french braid pigtails). Divide your hair into two parts and French braid each section into two pigtails. Secure the braids with a band. Finally, tame those flyaways a tad and free your braids from *too much* frizz by using Kiehl’s Silk Groom Serum.

Dutch Braid

POST-up with some Post Malone-inspired dutch braids. Before starting, make sure your locks are damp. Then, create a centre part and start a three-strand braid at the top of your head. Pull in strands from the side closest to the middle part as you go, and bring the hair into the underside of the braid.

[Hair Elastics, $5] [Kiehl’s Styling Gel, $22]

Maybe you’ll decide to rock one of these styles for Post Malone’s performance at the 2017 iHeartRadio MMVAs on Sunday, June 18th!
