Sam Roberts Band to perform at the MMVAs
Sam Roberts Band is not only a double nominee for the 2014 MMVAs, but the guys will also be performing at this year’s show! With nominations for their videos We’re All In This Together and Shapeshifters, the 2014 MMVAs are shapeshifting up to be a very big night for the Canadian rockers.
Since releasing their debut album in 2000, Sam Roberts Band have enjoyed a long history with the MMVAs, appearing numerous times over the years and taking home an incredible five MMVAs, winning their first in 2003, the same year they performed for the first time at the biggest awards show of the year.
In addition to Sam Roberts Band, today’s performer announcement includes MAGIC!, Kiesza and Virginia to Vegas ft. Alyssa Reid, as well as presenters Colton Haynes, Mia Martina, SonReal, Victoria Duffied, The Weeknd and Marianas Trench. Previously announced performers for the 2014 MMVAs include Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Hedley, Imagine Dragons and Lorde, and presenters Chloë Grace Moretz, Jena Malone, and Kellan Lutz, and co-hosts Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
