Check Out The First 2017 iHeartRadio MMVA Performers

The wait’s over, folks. We’re so excited to announce the first wave of huge performers who will be taking the iHeartRadio MMVAs stage this year—and, although this goes without saying, they’re all kind of a big deal.

On June 18, the MMVAs stage will light up with must-see performances from Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Iggy Azalea, DNCE, Julia Michaels, Jazz Cartier and many more. Talk about kicking things off with a bang.

Lorde’s highly anticipated second album Melodrama will drop on June 16, meaning the international superstar will be spending the Sunday of her album release weekend with us at the MMVAs. We’re honoured (and so. very. excited).

Imagine Dragons return to perform for the second time at the iHeartRadio MMVAs, following the release of their smash single “Believer” earlier this year. One thing’s for sure—their dose of high-energy rock will leave everyone more than a little pumped for their forthcoming third album.

Fresh off the release of her booty-poppin’ new single “Mo Bounce,” Iggy Azalea is bouncin’ onto the MMVA stage this year—armed and ready to show us what’s in store for her second studio album Digital Distortion.

DNCE will inevitably d(a)nce their way into your hearts when they bring their colourful d(a)nce-pop to the MMVAs stage. Whether or not they’ll be accompanied by their trusty dawg squad, we aren’t sure—but the Joe Jonas-led five-piece are all we need.

You can’t swing open a door without hearing mention of the world’s hottest songwriter-turned-solo-artist Julia Michaels these days. After years of penning hits for Bieber, Fifth Harmony, Britney Spears and more, the “Issues” singer will step behind the MMVAs mic solo style, hopefully giving us a taste of her buzzed-about debut record.

Last, but in no way least—Prince of the City Jazz Cartier will be hitting the MMVAs stage for the very first time. The Toronto rapper’s fearless flavour of hip-hop is given major life in an amped-up setting like the MMVAs, and we think it’s just the venue for his famous on-stage (/roof) acrobatics.

Stay tuned for more big announcements!
