In case you didn’t know, the Much Music Video Awards are celebrating 25 years. That’s 25 years of music’s most awesome performers and the hottest presenters. That’s a lot of people to grace the MMVA stage. And while some presenters and performers have disappeared into obscurity there are still a handful of MMVA guests who are still relevant and bigger than ever. Over the years these celebrities have gone through drastic changes, some for the better and some, well, not so much. For #TransformationThursday we’re seeing how past MMVA guests have transformed over the years.
Tune into the 2014 MMVAs go down this Sunday at 9E/6P on Much, CTV and CTV GO hosted by Kendall and Kylie Jenner with feature performances from Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Hedley, Imagine Dragons, Kiesza, MAGIC!, Lorde, Sam Roberts Band and Virginia to Vegas feat. Alyssa Reid.
It’s been a while since Lindsay Lohan looked like this. Since 2003 Lindsay has spent some time in and out of rehab and jail. Nowadays she’s getting over her scarlet past and doing much better.
Aside from Chad Kroeger’s hair, it looks like Nickelback hasn’t changed that much since 2004.
Amanda Bynes has had a pretty hard year. Since her MMVA visit in 2006 Amanda went on a bad downward spiral, with her bizarre tweets, arrests, and questionable selfies. Thankfully she seems to be getting back to the Amanda we know and love.
Kim Kardashian upgraded from Reggie Bush to Kanye West and a baby.
Shawn Desman definitely looks so much better minus his baggy leather jacket and shaved head.
Miley Cyrus has probably had one of the most iconic transformation in history. Since 2010, she’s dyed and cut her hair, lost her Hannah Montana alter ego, and began twerking.

He discussed how, at 15, the album shaped the musician he is today and credits it as being the reason he started […]

Hot off their WayHome performance this past weekend, Canadian five-piece Stars have shared the latest instalment in their 2016 cover series with Beyoncé’s “Hold Up” and have also announced a summer tour. The band chose to cover the Beyoncé track from her Emmy-nominated album, Lemonade, simply because they—like the rest of the world—love the song. “She’s the queen […]
The 2016 MTV VMAs are going down Sunday, August 28 in Madison Square Gardens in New York City, but what’s an award show without nominees? Just a show, probably. Thankfully, the nominees have now been announced, putting the ‘award’ in award show. Beyoncé’s Lemonade and its visual component swept this year’s nominations, earning nods for […]
Tegan and Sara have made a career out of writing about love and all its complications, and now the indie pop singers are taking on a new topic of the heart—marriage. Back in June, before the sisters released their eighth studio album, Love You to Death, they did a Facebook Q&A, where they spoke about the new […]
