We really needed to do some spring cleaning and in a major kind of way! It’s a great feeling to get rid of unwanted, old clothes and to pick up some new pieces that update our whole wardrobe. We are so excited about H&M’s garment collecting program because they’re working towards reducing the environmental impact from the fashion industry and helping to save natural resources like water, cotton and oil.
We donated some crazy things we had kicking around like old Hawaiian shirts, Karate belts, random ski jackets and snow pants! LOL! It’s really amazing what you can find once you start looking in your closet and deciding if it still works in your wardrobe and asking yourself if you have worn it in the past few years.
The garment collecting program is especially amazing because you can get a $5 voucher when you submit a bag of your unwanted clothes! You can bring in up to two bags per day (any brand of clothing clothing) and then use that voucher for your next purchase of $30 or more! It’s a win-win because then you can go shopping and pick up some new summer pieces!
H&M garment collecting boxes are all across Canada. So the next time you go to H&M, clean out your closet first! Watch the video to find out more deets! For even more info visit hm.com/longlivefashion
