Listen To Drake And DJ Khaled’s New Track ‘To The Max’

Three-time 2017 iHeartRadio MMVA nominee Drake and DJ Khaled have just released another one. Another hit, that is. The two hip hop heavyweights joined forces for DJ Khaled’s latest track “To The Max,” which is set to appear on his tenth studio album. Yup, tenth. That’s how many albums you have to release for your tagline to be ‘another one.’

The new track is a refreshing addition to the pop charts, with “To The Max” the most radio friendly single we’ve heard from Drake since “Hotline Bling.” A mash up of a quick bassline and slowed-down chorus, Drake’s introspective lyrics feel like a throwback to his early releases, while DJ Khaled does his part to rep the song in the final bars of “To The Max.”

The new single is the fifth time the two hitmakers have collaborated. The two men have previously worked together on “Fed Up” (2010), “I’m On One” (2011), “No New Friends” (2013), and “For Free,” which appeared on DJ Khaled’s 2016 album Major Key.

“To The Max” follows the two lead cameo-packed singles from Grateful, including “Shining” with Beyoncé and Jay Z and “I’m The One” with Justin Bieber, Chance the Rapper, Lil Wayne, and Quavo.

The full tracklist for Grateful has yet to be released, but in addition to the all star line up for the first three singles, the rest of the album is set to feature Nicki Minaj, Future, Rihanna, Travis Scott, and Mariah Carey.

DJ Khaled has listed his infant son Asahd as the Executive Producer of his new album Grateful, with the toddler making appearances at award shows and filling up most of his proud father’s Instagram page. DJ Khaled also released the album cover for his new disc today and not surprisingly, Asahd has made the cover. Okay, that is one cute kid, amirite?

According to Drake, the little mogul in the making is also pretty good at GIFs. Somebody submit this kid for a Mensa membership. Grateful will drop later this month on June 23.
