Things Get Wild In Jazz Cartier’s ‘Tempted’ Video

The Prince of the City Jazz Cartier reigns supreme in his latest music video… that totally looks like a big-budget action movie.

Unlike his other Toronto-centric music vids, this one focuses on a party that was becoming a “lituation”—until a couple of armed villains take Jazz hostage. The JUNO award-winning rapper is faced with bloody hits, violent threats and pistol whips in a suspenseful series of events.

But like any good hero, he makes a clever getaway by fighting his captors, escaping just in time to get back to the dance floor (and still look fly as hell while rocking his LaFleur logo gold chain).

“Tempted,” directed by Anthony Pellino, is the first single off Jazz’s upcoming album Fleurever—and it’s just the beginning of what’s to come. You might recognize Jazz’s throwback reference to Rupee’s 2004 club hit, “Tempted To Touch,” but our loyalties lie with the present-day Prince.

Before Jazz heads to home sweet WayHome during his Secret Garden North American tour, he’ll take the stage at the 2017 iHeartRadio MMVAs on June 18. Don’t miss Jacuzzi’s debut TV performance when he comes thru to the iHeartRadio MMVAs alongside Lorde, DNCE, Iggy Azalea, Imagine Dragons and Julia Michaels.
