5 Imagine Dragons Songs You Didn’t Know Were On Movie Soundtracks

Yesterday, we announced that Imagine Dragons are one of the huge performers taking the 2o17 MMVAs stage. The five-piece rock band are no strangers to major hit tracks, but, did you know they’ve been featured in five film soundtracks, as well?

Allow us to walk you through their soundtrack-ography.

Suicide Squad (2016)

There’s no question this Academy Award-winning film would have a badass soundtrack. Imagine Dragon’s “Sucker for Pain” features a monstrous list of collaborators, including Lil Wayne, Wiz Khalifa, Logic and Ty Dolla $ign.

The Host (2013)

Based on the first novel by Stephanie Meyer wrote, The Host stars Saoirse Ronan in this romantic, dystpoic sci-fi thriller that perfectly uses “Radioactive.”

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire (2013)

Imagine Dragons breathed fire into “Who We Are” for the second instalment of The Hunger Games, which fellow performer Lorde was also featured on with the song “Everybody Wants To Rule The World.”

Me Before You (2016)

Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke and The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’s Sam Clafin pair up in this romantic tear-jerker. We’d bet that Imagine Dragons low-key wrote this song for the Mother of Dragons.

Passengers (2016)

Passengers starred Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt who go on a space journey to a new home, but end up waking up 90 years too early. “Levitate” sets the mood with its punchy guitar riffs.

See Imagine Dragons at this year’s MMVAs on June 18, and catch their summer set at WayHome music festival in Oro Medonte, Ontario.
