Imagine Dragons Bring The Goosebumps With Performance Of ‘Believer’ And ‘Thunder’
Imagine Dragons brought the thunder with their double performance—and turned us all into believers. Returning to the stage three years after their incredible iHeartRadio MMVA debut, the Las Vegas rockers gave an explosive performance that fans won’t soon forget.
Opening with their anthemic track “Believer,” Imagine Dragons were later joined on stage by the 416 Beats drum chorus to bring their track “Thunder” to life. A symphony of smoke machines and confetti explosions accentuated the song’s booming bass hits, with lead singer Dan Reynolds covering every inch of the huge iHeartRadio MMVA stage. Reynolds also hoisted a Canadian flag into the air near the end of the band’s two-part performance, proving that you don’t need to be a native Canadian to show your love for The Great White North.
Tonight’s iHeartRadio MMVAs also marks the second time that Imagine Dragons have received an award at the annual show, with the band pulling out a victory and being named the iHeartRadio International Duo or Group of the Year. Imagine Dragons previously won International Video for the Year – Group in 2014 for their “Demons” video.
The 2017 iHeartRadio MMVAs are hosted by Alessia Cara and Joe Jonas and feature performances from Camila Cabello, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Julia Michaels, Post Malone, Jazz Cartier, Niall Horan, DNCE, and Arkells.
