Iggy Azalea Takes Control With New Single ‘Switch’

Thursday night, iHeartRadio MMVA performer and nominee Iggy Azalea blessed our timelines by dropping “Switch,” a collab with Brazilian singer Anitta. This single serves as the third release in anticipation of her Digital Distortion album. The record has no official release date yet, but this banger will definitely keep you going till then.

“Switch” is a must-add to your playlists in progress—the beat is infectious and will make you feel in charge, as you should. Iggy uses the metaphor of traffic switch control to show she’s that girl, rapping, “This is all that sauce your mama said you couldn’t get / Red light, yellow light, green light / Switch!” Anitta and Iggy sing over hand claps and a rattling beat.

Before this drop, Iggy released several other singles including “Team,” “Mo Bounce” and a Lil Uzi Vert collab “Can’t Lose.”

Catch Iggy performing live at the MMVAs on Sunday, June 18 at 9e/6p!
