This could be you: Host Extraordinaire of the MMVA Nokia Soundcheck, blogging and chilling in Toronto with your bestie in the midst of a wild ride weekend.

Here’s a taste of what could go down. You ready?

You’d arrive at Much HQ all fancy like and Nokia would hook you up with a state-of-the-art Nokia 5130 XpressMusic Phone.

Then we’d be like, “Hey Extraordinary Host, here’s your itinerary for the weekend”:

Friday
Appear live on MOD to declare yourself as the Host of the Nokia SoundCheck. Famous!

Saturday
Star as the Nokia SoundCheck host, live on MuchMusic with your shiny Nokia 5130 Xpressmusic phone.

You’ll…

*Appear on TV again, all day.

*Blog about everything you do.

* Upload photos from behind the scenes.

* Stream live video to your exclusive blog.

Sunday
Take a breather in the morning and then:

* Rub shoulders with celebs at the MMVAs
* Check out the TV monitors at the party, because they’ll be featuring you during the show!

Monday
Float on a cloud remembering your amazing experiences… and go home!

    Is it too late to enter the contest?
    It’s my birthday on june 19th and I’ll be 21!!!!
    I’m out-going, fun and very cheerful, i’ll be a great host!!!
    Not to mention again I’ll be 21!!!!: ) I want to spend my 21st birthday doing nothing but that. Sounds amazing and I would love to get a chance to go to muchmusic, not only on MMVA weekend but just at all.

    i entered the contest, but i dont think i put enough detail :(
    but i guess thats okay,
    if i win this contest, but i probably wont cause im going against practically all of Canada, im gonna miss my graduation. unless im allowed to leave VERY EARLY in the morning on Monday, hopefully. * crosses fingers* . tehhehe

    From all the entries MuchMusic will be picking the top ten best entries, and contacting those people individually, and narrowing the winner down from there. So if you don’t get a call, im afraid you didn’t make the short list. - Phone Call will be placed week of June 8th.

    heyy everyone so choose JSLM for the Nokia Soundcheck job!!!!
    I totally owe her for accidently sending in two empty applications, so dont disown her for that, it was all me lol!!
    She’ll do such a good job for this i can easily picture her being amazing at it.

    Hi Muchmusic!

    I just wanted to let you know that I think you should really pick my friend Akkila Thirukesan. She is 5′9 of everything you need in a host. She is amazing with people and since grade 2 I could tell she was going to have a career in media. She is amazing with new people and will definetly “break the silence” in awkward conversations. I know that she really appreciates music and the industry. She is doing this solo performance thing in Indian Dance so she has been NON-STOP rehersing for the past 3 months and I think she really deserves this. I can definetly say that she will NOT let you down. So please muchmusic pick her for this oppurtunity. And the fact that she would take me if she wins HAS NO INFLUENCE ON THIS lol. She really is amazing so give her a chance that you won’t regret.! :D
