Get the Backstage scoop with MMVA Floor Director JP

Backstage-JP

Backstage Correspondents Alyssa Talbot and Dan Rodo are busy getting the behind the scenes scoop on the MMVAs to bring to you! Today, Alyssa talked to JP, one of the very talented and very busy floor directors for the MMVAs to find out exactly what he does during the big show and how he deals with live TV!

Hi again! I think some people don’t realize how much work actually goes into the MMVAs. There are so many people that work behind the scenes before, during, and after the show to make sure it all goes smoothly.

Some of those people are floor directors and I got t the chance to interview one of the floor directors of this years MMVAs. JP, who is floor directing the John Street stage, was super friendly and even told me a bit about his very first MMVA’s back in 1999. Find out more about floor directing and JP’s experience at the MMVA’s by watching my interview with him!
