Last week I attended H&M’s Fall collection preview and although orange leaves and fuzzy scarves are the last thing on my mind with the warm weather finally arriving, I have to say the collection got me a little excited for cooler weather (and that’s saying something!). What I loved most about the collection is how there were so many different textures and patterns to play around with! From chunky knits, to metallics, to bejewelled skirts and sweaters and patterned dresses and pants, this fall H&M is making sure you’re not afraid to stand out against the weather!

H&M’s Fall looks are definitely fit for the stars, so to honour some of this year’s MMVA nominees let’s see what Fall pieces fit their style!

Marianas Trench just may have a happily Ever After the 2012 MMVAs as they take the lead in nominations in seven categories. Other artists on the leader board include Drake and Hedley with five each while Carly Rae Jepsen and Down With Webster reel it in with four nominations. Down With Webster may think “she’s dope” but we think they’re pretty dope themselves! With their effortlessly cool style in She’s Dope, they make everyone realize that a leather jacket and jeans doesn’t have to be boring. Bucky adds some colour by sporting a green leather jacket in one scene, now that’s dope!! The guys even sported some Toronto sports teams hats, hometown represent!

Shut up and watch Victoria Duffield’s video for Shut up and Dance , and it’ll make you want to shut up and work out! Or it will just make you want to learn all of the choreography. Six pack or not, you can easily recreate Victoria’s sexy video looks. Just opt for a longer top to feel less exposed (and to be allowed at school)!

Lights keeps us all on our toes throughout her Toes video. Her casual, cool video look makes us all want to cut our favourite pair of jeans into a pair of edgy cutoffs. But before you reach for those scissors, take a look at these awesome H&M jean shorts! Pair them with a commando style shirt and boots, and anyone would be willing to drive your soul!

Oh Adele, we’ll never find someone else like you. We can try and dress like you though! In her Someone Like You video, she stays true to her classy, timeless look wearing a simple yet chic black coat. Her hair is effortlessly pulled back and she’s wearing her trademark cat eye. This look will simply never go out of style!

Oh Nicki Minaj, we’ll never find someone else like you either! Although her look is far from timeless, it’s certainly a look of her own! I wouldn’t necessarily recommend replicating many of her Superbass video looks, however her bathing suit is fun and bold, just like some of H&M’s bathing suits that are sure to give anyone that booomboomboomboomboomboomboom…that super bass!!

Our crazy co-hosts for this years MMVAs are SO on trend right now with their neon outfit choices! But even with their on trend colour palette, LMFAO definitely have a style that’s all their own! I recently hit up H&M to create an LMFAO inspired outfit of my own, what do you think?? One thing I learned about dressing like LMFAO–have FUN with it!! Mix bright colours, add a bunch of jewellery, mix prints, the sky’s the limit for these guys! Go snatch up some LMFAO inspired clothes today and get ready to PARTY ROCK!

Okay, okay, you might know all the words to Champagne Showers and you may be able to shuffle with the best of them, but we bet you didn’t know these ten facts about LMFAO.

1. They are uncle and nephew!

Yeah, you probably knew this one (we do live in the world of Google, after all), but this fact still blows our minds. How cool would it be to party it up with your favourite auntie or uncle on stage in front of millions of people?

2. STOCKS! STOCKS! STOCKS! STOCKS! STOCKS! STOCKS!

Ummm… Redfoo was a day trader on the stock market before bringing home the gold with Champagne Showers?! What? Oh, it gets better. Redfoo appeared on CNBC’s Mad Money Show with Jim Cramer and talked eloquently about his past career and just how diversified his portfolio is.

3. They got mad Canadian love

LMFAO was nominated at this year’s Juno awards for International Album of the Year with Sorry for Party Rocking.

4. Redfoo and SkyBlu are the son and grandson of Motown Records founder Berry Gordy

Yep, these two might get it in their bones but they got music in their blood. Berry Gordy is one of the contributing factors that built the Motown sound and is responsible for just how popular acts like Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, and The Jackson 5 got.

5. They’re in Miami Trick! … And Canada, Asia, and the rest of the world

Yep, these guys have toured all over with the likes of Ke$ha, Far East Movement, and Snoop Dogg.

6. LMFAO likes to feature a lot of other talented artists…

… and be featured too. These guys have featured British artist Lauren Bennett, Lil’ Jon, and Natalia Kills in their songs and they have been featured in tracks by The Crystal Method and David Guetta.

7. They don’t only party rock, but they wear Party Rock

LMFAO have a clothing line called “Party Rock Clothing” and of course they wear it all in all their videos. Check out their clothing here.

8. Sure, Sexy Dudes has a ring to it, but LMFAO sounds more like it

Their original group name was Sexy Dudes, but their grandmother (or Redfoo’s aunt) apparently LMFAO’d at the name and inspired the change. Do you think she also ROFL’d?

9. Redfoo? More like … RedBOO!

10. THE SHUFFLEBOT IS A PLAYWRIGHT

Yes, the Shufflebot is Daniel Kanengieter, who is a playwright! We wonder if he has written anything while wearing the Shufflebot robot head. How amazing and ridiculous would that be? Shufflespeare, anyone?
