Drake’s ‘One Dance’ Wins iHeartRadio Canadian Single Of The Year

It’s the song that has ruled the charts for the past 12 months and now, Drake’s “One Dance” has been named the iHeartRadio Canadian Single of the Year!

The dancehall-inspired track appeared on Drake’s fourth studio album Views and features additional vocals by Kyla and Wizkid. The single has already gone Diamond in Canada and Platinum four times in the U.S., with tonight’s win marking Drake’s 15th MMVA.

The award was presented on stage by Much VJ Liz Trinnear along with Gotham actor David Mazouz and Broadway star Darren Criss, who accepted the award on behalf of the Toronto hip hop artist.

In addition to iHeartRadio Canadian Single of the Year, Drake also won the award for Most Buzzworthy Canadian Artist and was nominated for Fan Fave Artist or Group.

The 2017 iHeartRadio MMVAs are hosted by Alessia Cara and Joe Jonas and feature performances from Camila Cabello, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Julia Michaels, Post Malone, Jazz Cartier, Niall Horan, DNCE, and Arkells. Click here to watch the show now!
