Drake and Hedley lead the MMVA Nominations

We’re less than one month away from the biggest award show of the year, and what’s an award show without nominees? The votes are in and the nominees for the 2014 MMVAs have been announced!

Drake and Hedley are leading the pack with six nominations each, including Video of the Year and Your Fave Video. SonReal is close behind with five nominations, while Arcade Fire and The Weeknd are tied with four nominations a piece.

Sam Roberts Band and Thugli both nabbed three noms, while Avril Lavigne, Tokyo Police Club, City and Colour and Justin Bieber all scored double nominations. MMVA performers Lorde and Imagine Dragons are also one the list with two nominations each, going head to head with one another for Your Fave International Artist/Group, along with Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez.

The 2014 MMVAs will be co-hosted by Kendall and Kylie Jenner and feature performances from Lorde, Imagine Dragons and many more artists to come. The big show goes down Sunday, June 15 at 9E/6P and you can watch it on Much, CTV and CTV GO. Check out the full list of nominations below.
