Correspondents Dan and Alyssa wrap up their week Backstage at the MMVAs
Hey Everyone! Well, the time has come to say farewell and a big thank you to everyone that enjoyed the content Alyssa and I created. It’s crazy to think that the stage is literally half down already and it hasn’t even been a full 24 hours yet! Yesterday, I took the time to walk the line of people who slept overnight to get a good spot in the parking lot, and it was really great to see the amazing fan base of some of these artists.
This past week has been amazing, from making videos and writing blog posts to hanging out during sound check to seeing some of the world’s top artists in person. It’s always tough to figure out a word that fully represents the whole experience, but for now I will use INCREDIBLE! I hope YOU enjoyed the show as much as I did because A LOT of work has gone into preparing for a flawless production like this years MMVAs.
I’d like to thank everyone at MUCH and SUBWAY® Restaurants for having me back for another year and for giving so many cool stories to share with my friends and family when I get home. If you want to see more from me, stop by my YOUTUBE channel (www.Youtube.com/TheDanocracy) or any of my other social networks!
See you again,
Dan – @TheDanocracy
Hey everyone! It’s so weird when something that you have been waiting for, or something that has been so hyped up, eventually ends. These few days that I was at Much flew by and I wish they didn’t. However, this week has been awesome.
The amount of work that goes into this production amazes me. There are constantly people backstage running around with headsets on or moving things from one place to another and finishing everything that needs to be done. Dan and I always worked as a team and he was always there helping and mentoring me. We worked great together, whether it was working through how we were going to shoot each video, or even just making sure we both liked each others editing and blog posts…and honestly, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I had a blast interviewing people and making other videos since that is what I love to do.
Now the night of the actual show…I didn’t know what to expect because in previous years I have only watched it from home and in the parking lot audience. We also got to walk the red carpet! Even though no one knew who we were, it was still an awesome experience. We then got to watch the show from a room with lots of TV’s, and from the side corner of the parking lot, so it was definitely cooler seeing all the fireworks that way. The show itself was awesome. So many different camera angles, the stages looked unreal both in person, and on camera, and all the performers and presenters did great.
Now that it is all done, I want to thank MuchMusic and SUBWAY® Restaurants for making this week so exciting and awesome for me. Everyone that I met was friendly and made me feel welcome. I also want to thank Dan for mentoring me and I’m glad we worked so well together. Thank you to everyone who has watched and read all of our posts. I hope you all enjoyed them.
All the best,
Alyssa – @alyssatalb

Before we begin, we’re going to be referring to a bunch of Game of Thrones and Hunger Games scenes so let it be known that we’re throwing down a Westeros-sized *SPOILER ALERT* right now for all you guys and gals who aren’t caught up. You have been warned. Alright now let’s get down to business. […]
Other than his recent hit collab with Jack Ü, Justin Bieber hasn’t released new music in a while. But that wait is almost over as the pop star has announced a new single called What Do You Mean? Bieber’s website currently has a countdown on it to get fans excited for the August 28 release […]
In the season two trailer of Review, we found Forrest MacNeil back at work, reviewing anything and everything people suggest. In this brand new clip, Forrest is tasked to review something called a “glory hole”. (We don’t recommend Googling that.) This sets Forrest on a search for glory holes and anonymous sex, well, let’s just […]
A lot of weird things happen on Natasha Leggero’s new show, Another Period. From cocaine wine parties to insanely competitive pageants, it can be tough to believe that some of these things are actually historically accurate to 1902 society in Newport. (Okay, maybe not the cocaine wine parties.) But according to Leggero, there are a […]
In Episode 3 of the Mike On Much podcast, host Mike Veerman and producer Max Kerman set the scene for their interview with Hollerado frontman, Menno Versteeg and Schitt’s Creek star, Annie Murphy. It’s the first interview conducted for the podcast so Mike has anxiety about interviewing two people at once. Max talks about performing […]
