Camila Cabello Unleashes Star Power With Performance Of ‘I Have Questions’ And ‘Crying In The Club’

It was this time last year when Camila Cabello made her iHeartRadio MMVA debut, hitting the stage with her former band Fifth Harmony to perform their huge hit single “Work From Home.” That same night, hints of Cabello’s desire to go solo were beginning to show through the cracks, with the singer winning Best Pop Video and Fan Fave Video with Shawn Mendes for their duet “I Know What You Did Last Summer.”

Now a year later, Cabello’s transition to solo artist is complete, with the singer bringing the heat of a thousands fires with her performance of her debut lead singles “Crying in the Club” and “I Have Questions.” Silencing any doubts over whether Cabello has the star power to command the stage as a solo artist, Camila’s stunning medley of her first two solo singles were the perfect kick-off to the 2017 iHeartRadio MMVAs.

Cabello was backed by a chorus of dancers wearing dramatic pop art makeup and large black and white straight tutus, with the dancers going up on pointe for much of the performance. Acting as a puppet master for her dancers, Cabello wore a cage skirt with a black corset as giant teardrops created the perfect backdrop to the stunning theatrical performance.

In addition to her incredible performance, Camila is also nominated for Best New International Artist, a stacked category that has Cabello facing off against Chance The Rapper, Lil’ Yachty and fellow performers Post Malone and Niall Horan.

The 2017 iHeartRadio MMVAs are hosted by Alessia Cara and Joe Jonas and feature performances from Camila Cabello, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Julia Michaels, Post Malone, Jazz Cartier, Niall Horan, DNCE, and Arkells. Click here to watch now!
