Arkells Win Fan Fave Video For ‘Knocking At The Door’

The fans have come knocking and voted Arkells the winners of the Fan Fave Video.

Earning their first iHeartRadio Much Music Video Award this year, the Hamilton rockers are taking home some hardware tonight thanks to their 2017 video for “Knocking At The Door,” an ode to the great city of Toronto. Shot in and around the city, including Union Station and the Financial District, “Knocking At The Door” is a crisply curated look at the 6ix and all the beautiful people and locations that make the city world renown.

Taking the stage following their incredible performance of “Knocking At The Door,” Arkells frontman Max Kerman addressed the crowd, saying “We’d like to thank our amazing directors Shane and Mark who pulled this thing off in three days.”

This year’s show marks a number of firsts for Arkells, who are not only taking home their first iHeartRadio Much Music Video Award, but are also performing at the annual award show for the first time. Arkells have appeared at the iHeartRadio MMVAs in the past, acting as presenters and the unofficial band of the staff after party, a gig that once resulted in an impromptu duet with Kesha (check out the band sharing the story here).

In addition to Fan Fave Video, Arkells are also nominated for Best Rock/Alternative Video for “Knocking At The Door.”

The 2017 iHeartRadio MMVAs are hosted by Alessia Cara and Joe Jonas and feature performances from Camila Cabello, Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Julia Michaels, Post Malone, Jazz Cartier, Niall Horan, DNCE, and Arkells. Click here to watch now!
