Niall Horan, Post Malone, Lilly Singh And More Added To The iHeartRadio MMVAs!

We may have already unveiled a huge list of performers for this year’s iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards—including Lorde, Imagine Dragons, Iggy Azalea, Julia Michaels and Jazz Cartier—but we’re not even close to being done.

Just announced today, Niall Horan, Post Malone and Arkells are scheduled to make their debut performances on the iHeartRadio MMVA stage. But that’s not all. The first round of presenters have also been announced, with YouTube star Lilly Singh returning to the iHeartRadio MMVAs. Lilly will be joined by first-time presenters Nikki Bella from the WWE and Riverdale star KJ Apa.

Dropping his second solo single just last week with “Slow Hands,” Niall Horan is gearing up to release one of the most highly anticipated albums of the year. The former One Direction member has already stunned fans with his first two songs, including last year’s heartsick ballad “This Town.” Niall hit the studio for his first disc with Adele songwriters Greg Kurstin and Tobias Jesso Jr., as well as One Direction writer Julian Bunetta, finishing the recording process this month. The debut album from the accomplished pop singer is expected to arrive sometime this year.

Rapper Post Malone will also be making his iHeartRadio MMVA debut this year. Gaining a huge following after scoring an opening slot of Justin Bieber’s Purpose World Tour, the “White Iverson” rapper just dropped his debut album Stoney in December, which includes the single “Deja Vu” featuring the Biebs and “Congratulations” featuring Migos’ Quavo.

No strangers to the iHeartRadio MMVA red carpet, this year will mark the first time JUNO winners Arkells will hit the show as performers. The three-time iHeartRadio MMVA nominees (and one of this year’s wildcard noms!) will take a break from their busy touring schedule, which included their first performance at Coachella in April, to head home to Canada for the show.

Someone we think will definitely be excited to see pop singer Lorde’s performance at this year’s show is fellow New Zealander, KJ Apa. The 19 year-old actor has become one of the biggest names in Hollywood this year thanks to his role in A Dog’s Purpose and the hugely successful series Riverdale. Playing the lead role of Archie Andrews, Riverdale (based on the Archie comics) has already been renewed for a second season.

YouTube star, actor, author and full-time bawse Lilly Singh will be heading home to Toronto for this year’s iHeartRadio MMVAs. Presenting for the second year in a row (we haven’t forgotten last year’s epic dance battle between Singh and Amber Rose during Macklemore and Ryan Lewis’ performance), Singh will undoubtedly act as a tour guide for first-time presenter and friend, Nikki Bella. One half of the professional wrestling duo The Bella Twins and star of Total Divas on E!, Nikki Bella is the two-time WWE Divas Champion and the longest reigning champ in the title’s history.

The 2017 iHeartRadio Much Music Video Awards air live on Sunday, June 18 at 9E/6P. Stay tuned for more announcements, including how you can be at this year’s show.
